The toolkit has been developed to support you and your team to implement high quality, family focused approaches to welcoming new families, supporting their commencement at your service through orientation, and enabling positive transition experiences. 

What’s included:

• 3 engaging and self-paced presentations, with each one focusing on one of the three key areas. These presentations encourage you to critically reflect on the WHY, HOW and WHAT of the three key areas, and give you a range of best practice strategies and approaches you can use in your service.  They also encourage you to consider what will work best for you and your families. We do not offer a one size fits all approach – we support and encourage you to work out what is right for your unique service and community. 
• You will find relevant, easy to use and editable templates to support the implementation of the recommended practices, and we give support and direction on how to use these templates
• And we have also researched and hunted out the best possible sources of information and inspiration, and these are provided to you in our Support Resources –these are provided to assist you, your team and your centre community to build your skills and knowledge in specific areas.  

It’s important that you know that when you purchase the Orientation and transition toolkit, it is yours, forever! You and your team can watch the presentations as many times as you like – you own them. You can also pause the presentations and return to them when you are ready.
